OWLS THAT?

Just in case you missed it on TV, my Minerva Owl was one of those featured in the media launch for this year’s sculpture trail around the World Heritage city of Bath and surrounding area.

I painted an Owl for my sponsors at Cumberwell Park, who have a major conservation programme to protect many of the birds, animals, trees and plants featured in my design.
Cumberwell Park is the only venue on the Trail with Little Owls in their natural habitat and Lucy, Matt, Chris and Sue at the Park are putting on special owl-related activities for all ages over the summer. So please do visit my Cumberwell Owl as part of the Trail if you possibly can.

For directions to Cumberwell Park just click here.

You can also get more information about the Minerva Trail as a whole, including the various good causes it’s raising money for, by clicking here.

And to continue the bird theme…

Here are some paper birds that I just made for Tiffany & Co for their major new Paper Jewellery launch.

Please do get in touch if you’d like to commission a piece of artwork, either for an organisation or for someone special.

A very big thank you!

Thank you so much to everyone who was able to visit my open studio last weekend.

Apart from the slight lull around Saturday lunchtime(something to do with a competing event in Windsor!) it was wonderful to see so many friends, as well as to make lots of new ones.

It’s always such an inspiration to talk to others about art, so please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me at any time.
PS look out for news about the result of the Prize Draw for my latest Tiffany Glass Coloring Book in my next Newsletter!

This was a wedding gift, for a native New Yorker, which also became the design on all the wedding stationery.

Conservation’s a hoot!

I’m busy decorating one of the owls which will form part of the 2018 Minerva’s Owls Bath Sculpture Trail.

And even better, I’ll be working with sponsors who are absolutely committed conservationists in a beautiful setting teeming with wildlife (including three different types of owl – seventh heaven for me!).

More news to follow shortly.
